Dr. Franco Orsi is the Director of the Division of Interventional Radiology at the European Institute of Oncology (IEO) in Milan, Italy. With an extensive clinical and scientific career, he has performed over 6,000 minimally invasive procedures, including thermal ablations, biopsies, and vascular interventions, primarily in oncology. A pioneer in advanced techniques like intra-arterial embolization and percutaneous ablation, his work has significantly impacted liver and kidney cancer treatments.

Dr. Orsi is a prominent member of the global interventional radiology community, serving on the Board of Directors of the Society of Interventional Oncology (SIO) and as a Fellow of the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe (CIRSE). He has co-founded the International Education Society of Interventional Radiology (IESIR) and contributed to numerous scientific committees.

He is a prolific author with over 200 peer-reviewed publications and has shared his expertise as a speaker at more than 500 international conferences.
