Muhammad Ali

Dr. Muhammad Ali is a highly experienced peripheral & neurovascular Interventional Radiologist with a career spanning just under two decades. He graduated from Dow Medical College, Karachi in 2004 and did his FCPS in Diagnostic Radiology from CPSP in 2010, followed by Fellowship in Interventional Radiology from the Aga Khan University in 2011. He also acquired MSc in Oncologic Imaging from University of Pisa, Italy and Neuro-endovascular fellowship from Jacob’s Institute, Buffalo, USA. He can perform all sort of complex vascular and non-vascular interventions. A substantial component of the workload is in the peripheral arterial disease including aorto-iliac stenting and leg angioplasty for critical limb ischemia. He can also perform various neurovascular interventions including brain aneurysm coiling, flow diversion, carotid stenting & acute ischemic stroke interventions. Other areas of major interest include hepato-biliary interventions, hemodialysis AVF management, acute & chronic DVT treatments, uro-gynae & oncologic interventions. He has authored around 50 publications in peer reviewed journals. He is an eminent speaker and has given  talks at various national and international conferences. He currently works as a Professor & Head of Radiology & IR at Dr. Ziauddin Hospital, Karachi & is a current General Secretary of the Interventional Radiology Society of Pakistan.
