Submission
Requirements:

All submissions (abstracts, posters,
or presentations) must be made through the conference portal by the specified deadlines.

submissions will not be considered.

as registration fees and accommodations will not be provided.

Evaluation
Panel:

A panel of experienced
judges, including leading experts in interventional radiology, will assess the
submissions based on the outlined criteria.

Each submission will be
reviewed independently and scored according to a standardized scoring sheet.

Announcement of
Winners:

Winners will be
announced during the awards ceremony at the end of the conference.

All awardees will
receive a Certificate of Excellence and may be featured on the APSCVIR
website and publications.

Prizes:

Best Poster
Award: Certificate and potential monetary
prize (US$ 300.00).

Best Oral
Presentation Award: Certificate and potential monetary
prize (US$ 500.00).

Young Investigation
Award: Certificate and a significant grant
(US$ 500.00) to support future research
endeavors.

Disqualification:

Failure to attend the
presentation session or answer questions may lead to disqualification.

Plagiarism or
misrepresentation of research will result in immediate disqualification and may impact
future participation.

BEST POSTER AWARD

The Best Poster Award is designed to recognize outstanding poster
presentations that demonstrate excellence in
research, visual communication, and scientific rigor.
Evaluation Criteria:
1. Scientific Merit (40 points):
- Relevance of the research to interventional radiology or the conference theme.
- Originality and novelty of the study topic.
- Importance and potential clinical impact of the findings.
2. Clarity of Content (30 points):
- Well-defined objectives, methodology, results, and conclusions.
- Clear and logical flow of information.
- Adequate explanation of key points, including the hypothesis and significance of
the research.
3. Visual Design (20 points):
- Aesthetic layout with a balance between text and visuals (charts, graphs,
images).
- Use of readable fonts, clear headings, and consistent formatting.
- Effective use of color to highlight key sections.
4. Engagement (10 points):
- Presenter’s ability to clearly and confidently explain the poster.
- Responsiveness to questions from judges and audience members.
Additional Notes:
- Posters must be displayed on time and in the designated area.
- Presenters should be available during the poster session to answer questions.

BEST ORAL AWARD

The Best Oral Presentation Award recognizes excellence in the delivery
and content of
oral presentations that
significantly contribute to the field of interventional radiology.
Evaluation Criteria:
1. Scientific Contribution (40 points):
- Originality and importance of the research topic.
- Scientific rigor, including methodology, statistical analysis, and
interpretation of results.
- Potential for advancing knowledge or influencing clinical practice.
2. Presentation Skills (30 points):
- Clear and structured delivery with appropriate pacing.
- Effective communication of complex concepts in an understandable manner.
- Confidence, enthusiasm, and engagement with the audience.
3. Visual Aids (10 points):
- Slides or other materials are visually appealing, concise, and relevant to
the
presentation.
- Avoidance of clutter or unnecessary information.
4. Q&A Response (20 points):
- Ability to provide thoughtful, accurate, and concise answers to questions.
- Demonstration of deep understanding of the research topic.
Additional Notes:
- Presentations must adhere to the allocated time (e.g., 10–15 minutes).
- Presenters must use the conference-provided audiovisual equipment.

YOUNG INVESTIGATION AWARD

The Young Investigation Award highlights groundbreaking research
conducted by early-career investigators (aged 35 or
younger) that significantly advances the field of interventional radiology.
Evaluation Criteria:
1. Innovative Approach (40 points):
- Novelty of the research question or hypothesis.
- Creativity in methodology or application of new techniques.
- Potential for opening new avenues of research or clinical application.
2. Scientific Rigor (30 points):
- Robustness of study design and methodology.
- Appropriate use of statistical analyses.
- Comprehensive interpretation of findings with clear conclusions.
3. Impact (20 points):
- Relevance to current challenges in interventional radiology.
- Potential for clinical translation or implementation.
- Contribution to improving patient outcomes or advancing the specialty.
4. Presentation Quality (10 points):
- Professional and engaging presentation of findings.
- Logical flow of the presentation and clarity of content.
- Effective use of time and visuals to communicate key points.

- Applicants must provide proof of their age (e.g., ID or passport copy).
- Candidates must be registered as an Individual Member or Junior Member of APSCVIR.

TRAVEL GRANTS
USD 500 l 40 Awardees

Objective
The APSCVIR Travel Grant is established to provide financial support to Foreign
Participants, fostering their active involvement in the APSCVIR Annual Scientific
Meeting.
Eligibility Criteria:
1. Age Requirement:
- Applicants for the grant must be
35 years of age or younger as of January 1 of
the meeting year.
Required Documents:
- Scanned valid Passport
- Abstract Acceptance Confirmation: Proof of the abstract being
accepted for
presentation at the meeting
- Registration Confirmation:e of completed registration for the
APSCVIR Annual
Scientific Meeting
- Proof of Membership: Documentation issued by the local member
organization verifying
membership
- Application Forms: Application Forms
Application Process:
- Submission Deadline: Applications must be submitted with all
required documents
before March 10, 2025.
- Review Process: Applications will be evaluated for eligibility and
completeness.
- Notification: Awardees of Travel Grants will receive a notification
of results via

How to Receive the Grants:
- Awardees will receive the awards and grants at the APSCVIR 2025.
